1818 - Discovery of the Necropolis of Meidoum. Revelation of the Cult and Conversations with Imothep the Fourth aka the Dark Pharaoh. Lord Carter becomes the first British Necromancer.

1819 - The Cult is founded in London. On the 24th of May, birth of Her Majesty the Queen Victoria.

1823 - Violent unrest at Meidoum between Gypsies and the British troop in charge of protecting the Necropolis.

1827 - Thanks to the impulse and genius of its many industrious scientists, the British Empire technologically leaps forward and enters first the Industrial Era. Creation of the Mechanical Brotherhood by Charles Babbage.

1830 - Charles Babbage creates the first automaton and becomes the first Great Master of the Mechanical Brotherhood.

1831 - First automatons in London  factories

1839 - On the 20th of June, beginning of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert’s reign.

1840 - The Cult succeeds in bringing a dead man back to life. Far cheaper than automatons, zombies are considered as a possible workforce.

1841 - The Anglican Church states that zombies have no soul. The British Empire abolishes slavery.

1842 - Beginning of a serious economic crisis, reaching its critical point in August. Violent anti-zombies riots are spreading under Lord Wofenby’s influence. British Scientists finally succeed in isolating Ether, the key element  to the use of magic.

1843 - In order to avoid new riots, opium is massively imported on British soil. Numerous Chinese people settle in Britain. The Dragon is spreading over the country.

1848 - Karl Marx publishes the Anti-Zombie Party Manifesto.

1851 - In order to demonstrate their perfect mastery of Ether during the Universal Exposition, a  protoplasmic capacitor is  built by the Mechanical Brotherhood. At the end of the event, the experiment turns into a disaster as the explosion of the capacitor generates dozens of ectoplasms that will roam over London for years. The Mechanical Brotherhood is dismantled by Royal Decree and  gatherings of scientists are  henceforth forbidden.

1852 - Crimean War. The British Empire's new weapons provide a swift victory over Russia. First Chinese New Year in London.

1854 - The London subway is built.

1855 - Arrival of Imhotep the Fourth on board the Leviathan. He settles near the Tower of London. The Wheel decides to gather in Britain to stop the raise of the Darkness' powers.
